To efficiently get rosin out of a rosin micron filter bag, follow these steps:
Pack the Bag: Place the pre-pressed material into the micron bag, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
Fold the top of the bag over to create a seal.
Pre-Press: If you're using flower, it's often helpful to pre-press it to remove some moisture and make it easier to pack into the micron bag.
Pressing Process: Make sure your pressing temperature and pressure settings are optimal for your material.
Generally, for flower rosin, a temperature between 180-220°F (82-104°C) and pressure around 600-800 PSI is ideal.
Cooling Period: After pressing, let the rosin bag cool slightly.
This makes it easier to handle and helps the rosin to solidify a bit.
Careful Removal: Open the press and carefully remove the parchment paper and rosin bag.
Peel and Collect: Gently peel away the bag from the rosin, ensuring you don't leave any material behind.
Use a dab tool or a small spatula to scrape up the rosin from the parchment paper.
Storage: Transfer the collected rosin into a silicone container or parchment paper for storage.
If you find any rosin stuck to the bag, gently warm the bag slightly and use a dab tool to scrape it off.
This method ensures you get the maximum yield from your press.
