Paint filter bags make great tea strainers!

These tea strainers are perfect for making large batches. 

Just turn them over so the tea doesn't stick to the seams. Also suitable for sun tea tins.

5 Gallon Paint Filter Bags are perfect for home brewing.

I use these for my cereal when home brewing. 

I take them out of the bag and soak them in a container of hot water with a small amount of IO-STAR sanitizer for about 15 minutes,then rinse in cold water and soak for another 20-30 minutes. 

Rinse again before use and you're good to go.  Just be sure to keep it away from the bottom of the pot during the heating process!

As a home brewer, adding fresh grains to your beer can significantly improve the flavor profile of your extract beer. 

Getting the grains and their remains out of the water can be a bit of a hassle, though. Enter this handy item. 

Put it in your brew kettle with all your specialty grains and boil/steep. 

The elastic strap secures the top of the bag out of the boiling water, so when you're ready to take it out, all you have to do is lift the bag. 

All your grains will come out and the sweet wort will be lost. 

Spritz a little with some hot water and you'll extract as much sugar as possible from the grain.
